MVCTC Welcomes New Assessment Center Coordinator for Adult Education

The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) introduces Mark Stefanik as the new Assessment Center Coordinator for the Adult Education Center. With a robust background in education, Mark is dedicated to supporting community members in their educational and career journeys by providing various assessment opportunities designed to measure, verify, and expand skills across multiple fields.

What We Offer

Skills Assessments Our Adult Education Center offers a wide range of assessments to evaluate and certify skills in numerous areas, including:

  • WorkKeys: An industry-recognized assessment that tests foundational skills in applied mathematics, reading for workplace information, and locating information.
  • GED Assessments: Achieve your high school equivalency diploma with official GED exams.
  • Professional Certifications: Through our Pearson Vue partnership, we offer certifications in fields such as information technology, teaching, and aviation.
  • Additional Assessments: Options include the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) assessments.

Flexible Scheduling With weekday and evening availability, assessments can be scheduled at both our main campus in Englewood and a new Job Center location (1111 Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, Dayton), opening October 25th. This flexible scheduling ensures accessibility for students and working professionals alike.
