How did MCJVS/MVCTC help you to be successful?
"I attended MVCTC my junior and senior year of high school for the Allied Health Tech Prep program. I obtained my STNA license and took college credit classes towards my Associate of Applied Science degree at Sinclair Community College. Throughout the program, I learned basic nursing knowledge that prepared me for nursing school and working in the hospital setting, which I was able to do right upon high school graduation. I worked as a Patient Care Technician for Premier Health until I graduated nursing school and then began working in the RN role at Miami Valley Hospital. I currently work for Norton Healthcare in the ICU in Louisville, Kentucky. I thoroughly enjoy what I do, and I have MVCTC to thank for helping me start off on the right path. I will forever be grateful for the role MVCTC played in getting me to where I am now in my nursing career!"
