Toolmaker/Precision Machinist Trainee

Description

Employee would work with toolmakers to produce precision components of manufacturing equipment using cnc mills. cnc lathes and surface grinders. Employee would learn to inspect his or her products to ensure they meet part print dimensions and specifications.

Skills

Candidate must have experience running manual or cnc mills, lathes and/or surface grinders.
Candidate would be able to read and understand blueprints or CAD files.
Candidate would have good attendance skills and be good at working with others.
Candidate would have good math skills, be able to lift 25 pounds on and off of a machine and be able to stand at a machine for extended periods of time.

Days / Hours

6:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday thru Friday. Overtime available.

Pay Range & Benefits

$18-$22 per hour depending on work experience. Review every 6 months after hire.
Full time employees receive:
-Paid holidays after 60 days, personal time off after 6 Months and 2 weeks vacation after 1 year.
