Sheet Metal Fabricator | DRT Miamisburg, OH
This position will set up and operate equipment/machines used to fabricate sheet metal components
made from steel, aluminum, and stainless steel and will assure that parts are produced to the drawing
specifications.
Responsibilities:
• Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as cold saw, drill presses, and brake presses
• Basic blueprint reading – Understands specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of
finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
• De-burr, grind, and finish with hand tools or power-driven equipment
• Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications
• Maintains clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety standards and
requirements
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks as required
Qualifications:
• Press Operation, Machining, or Welding experience, preferred
• Blueprint reading preferred
• Working knowledge of metrology instruments, (calipers, micrometers, ruler, and height gauge)
preferred
• Strong math skills required

Monday - Friday 7AM-3:30PM
