Eick Global STEM Academy is a small business in Monroe, OH. We are professional, creative, and our goal is to develop innovative thinkers and the design process in our students! We work only with 2 - 11-year-old students.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Teacher to join our team and provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our Early Preschool students.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans for preschool-aged children.
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in the classroom.
- Be responsible for diaper changes and toilet training.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress.
- Organize activities that develop motor skills, social skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Assist with daily routines such as dressing, eating, and toileting.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

Skills

The ideal candidate will:
- Have a passion for teaching young children.
- Have the ability to create engaging activities that promote learning and development.
- Have the ability to foster positive relationships with parents/guardians and colleagues.
- Be willing to collaborate with the Assistant Teacher to implement creative lesson plans that meet the needs of all students.

We utilize Teaching Strategies GOLD (Creative Curriculum), Heggerty Phonics, Learning Without Tears, and Read it Again.

We offer training for new staff where one can also earn their Child Development Associate (CDA) if they do not already have an educational degree. We have a great collaborative team and a supportive administration.

Days / Hours

7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with 60-minute lunch
Monday - Friday

Pay Range & Benefits

Starting pay is $16 - $17/Hour
