Description

The A&P Technician troubleshoots, inspects, repairs, and performs both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on General Aviation aircraft, including both piston and turbine powered aircraft. In your role, you will:
• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, perform and document routine and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
• Able to read and interpret manufacturer maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification.
• Operate ground support equipment as required.
• On rare occasions, ability to work weekends, nights, and/or unscheduled overtime as needed.
• Employees must have their own set of tools.
• May assist with maintenance at off-site locations.
• Able to work in varying conditions, stand for long periods of time, fit in tight spaces, climb aircraft and support stands, fly on-board company aircraft when necessary.
• Able to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to complete job assignments in a timely manner.
• Work well with limited supervision and assistance from coworkers.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with coworkers as well as our customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.


Skills

QUALIFICATIONS
• An A&P Certificate, or you are currently attending school to obtain an A&P Certificate with a planned completion date within six months.
• Prior experience with EBis or similar software preferred.


Days / Hours

M-F 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Weekend shifts available


Pay Range & Benefits

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
