Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer

Description

Operates various mobile equipment, including but not limited to, trucks, heavy equipment, dozers, front-end loaders, boom trucks, mobile cranes,  bobcat, forklift, cherry picker,  dump trucks, and/or platforms. 
Directs flow of material to/from operating units, coordinates activities with appropriate areas and resources
Works with materials and equipment necessary to transport and process products and materials.
Performs and assists maintenance personnel with maintenance work including but not limited to minor troubleshooting of equipment,  PM’s,  inspections and other tasks as necessary  to ensure maximum productivity is achieved safely and according to company and customer requirements and standards, coordinating activities with other personnel and departments as required
Provides assistance to maintenance as requested in completing larger scope or emergency repair work, coordinating activities with other personnel and departments as required.
Clean, wash down and shovel spillage from walkways, conveyor belts, transfer points and /or anywhere spillage may occur.
Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.

Skills

Heavy equipment operating experience
Ability to follow safety rules
Must pass drug screen

Days / Hours

Rotating 12 hour shifts: 6:30a-7:00p. Work 7 days in a 14 day cycle. Week 1 Work Mon, Tues, off Wed, Thurs, Work Fri, Sat, Sun. Week 2: off Monday, Tues, Work Wed, Thurs, Off Fri, Sat, Sun.

Pay Range & Benefits

$21.00-$24.15/hr. Plus quarterly bonus with 12% target.
