We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as 2nd or 3rd shift Dispatchers. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of goods and services. Your role will involve communicating with drivers, plants and suppliers, analyzing data, and ensuring efficient fleet management.
```Duties```
- Communicate with drivers to assign routes and schedules
- Coordinate transportation planning and logistics
- Utilize proprietary software to track shipments and monitor progress
- Communicate with fleet maintenance for repairs
- Utilize GPS systems to track vehicles in real-time
- Dispatch drivers in a timely manner based on customer requests
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during transportation
```Experience```
- Proven experience in dispatching or related field or will train the right candidate
- Familiarity with transportation planning and fleet management
- Proficient in using phone systems and communication devices
- Knowledge of Office software
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Skills

45 hours per week (paid every Friday)
