On October 8thand 9th, the MVCTC FCCLA chapter officers and representatives from Early Childhood Education, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Services came together at Heartland Conference Retreat Center to learn how to become better leaders and chapter members. During the overnight stay, the students participated in a team- bonding games and workshops that were very useful and valuable for the students to take back to MVCTC and implement into the chapter meetings. The students were also able to participate in a “mud run” which forced the students to work on communication skills to complete the course. The students want to thank the staff at Heartland and MVCTC for giving them the opportunity and chance to attend this great training!
