2019 MVCTC National Technical Honor Society Inductees

Englewood, Ohio – Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) inducted students into National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) on Sunday, March 10, 2019. The NTHS students, as well as their honored educators from MVCTC and their partner school district, were recognized in a ceremony at MVCTC in front of family and friends.

Students selected for NTHS based on the following requirements: a 3.75-grade point average or higher, 97 percent attendance, passed all parts of the Ohio Graduation Test and teacher recommendations. Each of the 2019 inductees is the recipient of a $500 scholarship made possible by the MVCTC Education Foundation. 

Angel Adams (Early Childhood Education student from Valley View)

  • Future Plans - Attending Miami University in Oxford for a major in Social Studies/Math Middle Childhood Education. “I plan on teaching while in college with my MVCTC certifications, and afterward with my new experiences from college.”

Alexandria Allen (Early Childhood Education student from New Lebanon)

  • Future Plans – “My future plans after high school is to join the Air National Guard. This summer I will most likely be attending boot camp in Texas. I plan to work on base and/or serve my few weekends a month. While doing this, I plan to attend college at Findlay University.”
