MVCTC students and staff will return to campus on Tuesday, September 8th. We will be following the blended schedule that was initially shared in August.
Because next week is a short week due to the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Seniors will report to campus on Tuesday ONLY. Junior students will report to campus on Thursday and Friday.
Starting on September 14th, we will follow the full blended learning schedule and Senior students will be on campus Mondays and Tuesdays. Junior students will be on campus on Thursdays and Fridays. Please refer to MVCTC’s website and the frequently asked questions page if you have additional questions or email QUESTIONS@MVCTC.COM.
In closing, parents, I am asking for your help. I request your full assistance in ensuring your child does not have symptoms before you send them to school. The administration and staff have been working diligently to develop a plan to keep students on campus as much as possible for the remainder of the school year BUT that will only happen if students AND staff who have any symptoms stay home. If your child has any symptoms related to COVID-19 and you are in doubt of whether you should send them, PLEASE keep them home.
If students with symptoms are sent to school, the district will be forced to quarantine entire career technical labs if a student is suspected of testing positive for COVID-19. This will create a less than ideal learning environment for others in your child’s class. Please consider other students and staff before sending your child to MVCTC’s campus if they are displaying any COVID-19 symptoms, no matter how mild or insignificant. I appreciate your help as we work to provide the best teaching and learning environment possible.
As a convenience to our parents, another SchoolMessenger reminder call will be sent on the evening of September 7th before students and staff return on September 8th.
