MVCTC NEW REMOTE LEARNING DAY FOR JUNIOR STUDENTS ONLY: FEBRUARY 25

01/28/2021

Following guidance provided by Governor Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health, MVCTC has been working with a multitude of stakeholders to provide an opportunity for MVCTC staff members to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine. Fortunately, we were notified earlier this week that schools in Montgomery County will be some of the first counties across Ohio to receive the vaccine for educators. Since that notification was received a day ago, the district has been working through a number of details that will allow our staff members to receive the vaccine on Thursday, February 25, 2021.

On February 25, Junior students on the main campus and at Youth Connections will now be participating in remote learning days rather than coming to campus. Senior students are already in a remote learning format on all Thursdays as part of their normal schedule and their schedule WILL NOT be impacted. Junior students will be assigned remote assignments by their career-technical instructors on both of these dates in place of them not being on campus. Students should communicate any questions related to the remote assignments on February 25 to their career-technical instructor.

This information will be also shared in the near future on MVCTC’s website, student email, social media, and through a SchoolMessenger call to ensure we reach all of our parents and students.
