Honor, tradition, and service are hallmarks of the United States military, and Ohioans have made countless storied contributions to our nation's history. Ohio continues this legacy as its education community recognizes high school students joining the military with the Annual All-Ohio United States Armed Forces Career Commitment Celebration.
The following MVCTC students have committed to joining the United States Armed Forces:
- Cody Schmidt, Medical Lab Assisting Senior from Milton-Union, has committed to join the United States Marine Corp.
- Kevina Lowe, Dental Assisting Senior from Jefferson Township, has committed to join the United States Navy!
- Damian Harris, Culinary Arts Senior from Carlisle, has committed to join the United States Army!
- Justin Banks, Welding Senior from Carlisle, has committed to join the United States Navy!
- Zach Statzer, Welding Senior from Miamisburg, has committed to join the United States Navy!
- Sage Bowman, Welding Senior from Eaton, has committed to join the United States Marine Corps!
- Devin Lambert, Robotics & Automation Senior from Milton-Union, has committed to join the United States Marine Corps!
The document states, "Your signature proclaims your commitment to the United States Armed Forces. By signing this document, you are agreeing to uphold the United States Constitution and give everything you have in order to fight for our freedoms and defend this great nation. You are hereby agreeing to represent the United States of America, your family and yourself. For that, you should be incredibly proud. Your commitment and future service in the United States Armed Forces is what keeps our country, our freedoms and our citizens safe."
