MVCTC Hall of Fame Nominations due June 1, 2021

The Miami Valley Career Technology Center Hall of Fame was established in 1991 to honor graduates for the significant contributions they have made to their profession and to their communities. Family, employers, employees, teachers, and friends nominate Montgomery County Joint Vocational School (MCJVS), and Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) graduates every five years.
The MVCTC Hall of Fame nomination and induction guidelines:
- No more than ten individuals shall be inducted every five years.
- Inductees shall have a minimum of five years of professional experience at the time of nomination.
- Must be an MVCTC or MCJVS alumni. This includes Adult Education and Youth Connections, alumni.
- The nominee has continued their professional training after MVCTC.
- The nominee has made significant contributions to their career field.
- The nominee has demonstrated career success and/or philanthropic service.
- The nominee has industry and peer recognition, including up to three recommendation letters supporting the individual's nomination.
- Nominations include a Résumé demonstrating the work history and professional/academic successes of the nominee.
- Nominations can be made by completing a nomination form electronically.
- The final inductees are selected by a group of outside judges, not by MVCTC staff or faculty.
- Satellite students that have completed three out of four years of high school enrolled in the same career pathway program are eligible.
The nomination form can be found at www.mvctc.com/hof/nominate. Nominations are due by June 1, 2021. A committee appointed by the Superintendent will select the next class of honorees. The inductees will be announced in August of 2021, and will be honored at the MVCTC Advisory Dinner in October 2021. The honorees' names will be on display in the new MVCTC Building.
