The MVCTC Health & Consumer Sciences December 2021 Students of the Month
Englewood, Ohio – Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Health & Consumer Sciences December 2021 Students of the Month were Ashlynn Hymer, Health Occupations student from Milton-Union, and Samareya Igbinjesu, a Pre-Nursing student from Jefferson Township.
- Ashlynn Hymer (Milton-Union), a senior student in Health Occupations. Instructor Ellen Elliott-Bissey shared, "Ashlynn has gone above and beyond in assisting me with tasks such as SCD prep, bulletin boards, etc. She always has a smile and is willing to help classmates as well. Ashlynn works at Brookhaven as a nursing assistant."
- Samareya Igbinjesu (Jefferson), junior in Pre-Nursing. Instructor Emily Powers stated, "From the first day of school, I have been lucky to see the gentle and kind heart of Samareya. She enters the classroom every morning with a smile on her face and is ready to learn. Samareya is always prepared for class, bringing all of her materials, and has performed very well on all assessments. Her classmates have selected Samareya to be a Team Leader in Lab. This leadership position will allow her to help her classmates through skills and assist those struggling. It would be nice to see Samareya walk through the door as my healthcare provider if I were a patient. Keep up the good work, Samareya!"
