Health and Consumer Science Students Recognized as January Students of the Month

Englewood, Ohio – The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Health and Consumer Science department is proud to recognize students of the month for January 2023, Jaidyn Beswetherick (Early Childhood Education/Bethel) and Nathaly Yanez (Culinary Arts/Northridge).

Jaidyn Beswetherick (Bethel) is a senior in the Early Childhood Education program. Instructor Alicia Newman stated, “Jaidyn is a great nominee for student of the month! She has set a personal goal for herself to have perfect attendance this year and so far she is on track! She arrives each day with a positive attitude and ready to learn. She is kind to peers and assists them when needed. She does a phenomenal job teaching the preschoolers and can be counted on to be reliable and professional.”

Nathaly Yanez (Northridge) is a junior in the Culinary Arts program. Cortney Bergbigler, Culinary Arts instructor, shared that Nathaly has shown how dedicated she is to the program. She can prepare great products and has placed in many of the food war competitions in the lab. She is helpful to classmates and has excellent grades and attendance. Nathaly was an excellent Sophomore Career Day tour guide. She is currently working on a FCCLA Regional competition project for developing a business plan for investors of a restaurant she wants to open in the future. She has a bright future ahead of her.
