The Class of 2023 Senior Recognition Ceremony is Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at the Wright State University Nutter Center at 6:30 PM. Doors will open at 5:15 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 PM.
Parking and Directions: Students and guests should park in Lot #1 or Lot #2 and enter the gates nearest these lots (Gate 4 is handicap accessible). There are no limits to the number of people who may attend. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additional Information: Students must have an approved graduation gown from their partner school district graduation, or they can speak to their MVCTC Counselor about borrowing an MVCTC gown for the ceremony. For safety reasons, students should not wear their graduation gowns until arriving at the Nutter Center. Additionally, graduation caps are not worn at the MVCTC Senior Recognition ceremony. Therefore, do not bring your graduation cap with you.
When students arrive at the Nutter Center, please meet in the McLin Gym on the ground floor at the back of the Nutter Center. Students should begin making their way to their seats by 6:10 PM. Students will be seated with their Career Technical Program and instructor on the floor of the Nutter Center.
Students arriving after the ceremony begins will not be admitted onto the floor and thus will not participate in the ceremony. Be on time!!!
Staff will ensure students meet the dress requirements before granting permission to enter the floor.
Dress requirements:
The Senior Recognition ceremony is a formal “dress up” event. The dress code is as follows:
Attire for male students: dress pants, dress shoes and socks, and a collared shirt.
Attire for female students: a dress shirt, dress skirt/pants, or a dress and appropriate dress shoes.
