On Thursday, October 19, Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) students brought their Career-Technical Programs to life at the Northmont Career Day at Northwood Elementary.
MVCTC Student Ambassadors Josh Smith (Retail Agriculture Service/Northmont) and Danielle Warner (Veterinary Science/Valley View) shared hands-on activities from their respective labs.
The hands-on activities allowed the elementary school students to get a firsthand look at the skills and knowledge required in various career fields, giving them a glimpse into the possibilities that lie ahead.
As MVCTC Career Exploration Coordinator, Todd Engel stated, "It was rewarding to see the excitement and smiles on the faces of students and the MVCTC Student Ambassadors throughout the day. MVCTC students demonstrated leadership with engaging conversations and hands-on activities."
We are dedicated to providing premier educational choices and advanced employment preparation for youth, adults, and organizations of the Miami Valley.
