Bridging the Gap: A Day of Exploration for Biotechnology and Medical Lab Students
Junior Biotechnology and Medical Laboratory Assisting programs at the MVCTC toured the labs at Sinclair College. This experience allowed students to delve into the practical aspects of their chosen fields. It provided a valuable platform for interaction with a panel of Sinclair students, including an MVCTC alumnus. The day included hands-on learning, insightful discussions, and networking opportunities, offering our students a glimpse into the transition from high school to college.
MVCTC students asked excellent questions regarding the transition from high school to college, navigating online and in-person coursework, and how to be successful at Sinclair. The Tech Prep office presented opportunities available to our students, including their scholarship, BOGO (buy three credit hours and get three credit hours free), summer specials, and credit transfers to four-year colleges/universities.
