MVCTC Earns Top Marks on 2024 Ohio School Report Cards
The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) has once again demonstrated excellence in education, as reflected in the 2024 Ohio School Report Cards released today. MVCTC significantly exceeded state standards, earning an overall rating of 5 stars and meeting all 9 out of 9 Federal Indicators, confirming the school’s commitment to providing premier education and career preparation.
Outstanding Performance Across Key Areas
The Ohio CTPD Report Cards assess performance in specific measures within broader components, each providing a snapshot of how well schools prepare students for future success.

Achievement—4 Stars: The Achievement component measures the skills and knowledge students acquire through their career-technical programs. MVCTC demonstrated strong technical assessments and academic achievement results based on Ohio’s State Tests, earning a commendable four stars.

Graduation Rate—5 Stars: MVCTC received the highest rating in this component, reflecting the success of its students in completing their high school education. The Graduation Rate component looks at four-year and five-year graduation rates, demonstrating that MVCTC students consistently finish school with diplomas.

Career & Post-Secondary Readiness – 5 Stars: Whether students are headed for college, additional technical training, or directly into the workforce, MVCTC ensures they are prepared for whatever path they choose. This component assesses how well the school equips students for future opportunities, including technical training and post-secondary education, earning MVCTC the highest rating.

Post-Program Outcomes – 5 Stars: Another area where MVCTC excelled is in Post-Program Outcomes, which evaluates the proportion of students employed in apprenticeships, military service, or post-secondary education within six months after graduation. MVCTC’s success in guiding students toward meaningful careers and further education earned the school top marks.
