MVCTC FCCLA Chapter Welcomes Ohio State Vice President and Announces 2024 Officers

The MVCTC CCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) chapter held its September meeting, welcoming a special guest, Ohio FCCLA State Vice President Malachai Teets. Malachai shared his journey with FCCLA, highlighting the organization's many opportunities and encouraging students to be actively involved in their chapters and local communities.

During the meeting, the MVCTC FCCLA chapter proudly introduced its 2024 officers:

  • Melody Wolf, President (Culinary Arts/ Tri-County North)
  • Krishia Ewing, Vice President of Secretary & Communications (Culinary Arts/ West Carrollton)
  • Ashlyn Bailey, Vice President of Member Engagement (Culinary Arts/ Miamisburg)

Advisors Chef Cortney Bergbigler and Tammi Newbourn expressed their excitement about working with the newly appointed officers and supporting the chapter’s goals for the year.

Looking ahead, the chapter is preparing for a key event in October. Melody Wolf, along with a select group of chapter members, will attend the FCCLA Fall Leadership Training. This two-day session will provide networking opportunities, team-building exercises, and leadership skill enhancement designed to empower attendees and help them make an even greater impact in their communities.

FCCLA is a dynamic student organization that helps young people across the nation develop leadership and workplace skills. With opportunities for personal growth, community involvement, and leadership development, MVCTC's FCCLA chapter is committed to shaping tomorrow’s leaders.
