MVCTC’s SkillsUSA Chapter Hosting Annual Sock Drive for Shoes 4 the Shoeless
The MVCTC SkillsUSA Chapters are excited to announce their annual Sock Drive from October 28 through November 1, 2024. This event is a fun and meaningful opportunity for all Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) to make a difference in our community by donating new socks to those in need. All donations will benefit the local charity Shoes 4 the Shoeless, which provides essential footwear to children in need.
How to Participate:
- Donations will be collected daily from October 28 to November 1.
- All socks must be new and child or adult-sized (no infant or toddler socks, please).
- Socks must remain in their original packaging for hygiene purposes.
Scoring System:
- Each donated pair of white socks will earn your CTSO 1 point.
- Each pair of colored socks can be used to remove 1 point from a competing CTSO of your choice.
This friendly competition is more than just about winning—it's about helping others. However, the winning CTSO will earn ultimate bragging rights, a cookie party, and the coveted sock trophy!
