The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) FFA Chapter demonstrated skill and knowledge at the recent District 5 Urban Soil Judging Career Development Event (CDE). This hands-on competition challenges participants to apply their understanding of soil science, water management, and GPS navigation in real-world scenarios.
The MVCTC Natural Resources team earned second place in the district, securing their spot at the State Soil Judging Contest. The team advancing to state includes Bailey Barton (Franklin Monroe), Grant Hieser (Versailles), and Ethan Pappas (Valley View). Alternates Gabby Brown (Tri-County North) and Easton Moreland (Franklin Monroe) will also join them. Will Biesner (Franklin Monroe), who led the team with outstanding performance, placed fourth individually at the district contest and will represent MVCTC at the state level as well.
The MVCTC FFA Chapter is proud of these students’ accomplishments and wishes them the best as they represent the school and community at the State Soil Judging Contest. Their achievement underscores the exceptional education and career preparation provided by MVCTC programs.
We are dedicated to providing premier educational choices and advanced employment preparation for youth, adults, and organizations of the Miami Valley.
