Graphic Commercial Art Student Assume Regional Leadership Roles

02/05/2025

Two recently elected Southwest Regional Officers from the MVCTC Graphic Commercial Art (GCA) program, Stella Czarnecki (Vandalia-Butler) and Brook Russell (Northmont), demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication at last week’s Regional Officer Training Institute (ROTI).

This intensive four-day training prepared regional and Ohio state officers for their leadership roles through challenging exercises, including extensive public speaking, mastering meeting procedures, electing officer positions, and refining advocacy skills.

Congratulations to Brook Russell on being elected Southwest Regional President and Stella Czarnecki on earning the role of Regional Secretary. Additional accolades include:

  • Stella Czarnecki2nd place in the Elevator Speech competition
  • Southwest Regional Officer Team1st place in Advocacy, 3rd place in Goodwill Speech, and 3rd place in Opening and Closing Ceremony

We are incredibly proud of Stella and Brook for their hard work, perseverance, and leadership. Their dedication to excellence reflects the strength of MVCTC’s career-technical programs and student organizations. Congratulations to both, and best of luck in your leadership roles this year!
