MVCTC FFA Officers and Public Speakers Recognized for Outstanding Achievements

Englewood, OH – The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) FFA Chapter is celebrating the outstanding accomplishments of several dedicated members who recently excelled in officer book evaluations and public speaking competitions.
At the District 5 FFA Evaluation held on January 27, three MVCTC FFA officers were recognized for their meticulous record-keeping and contributions to the chapter:
- Aubrey Sawvell (Natural Resource Management / Huber Heights) earned a Silver Rating for her Treasurer’s Book, which details the chapter's financial records.
- Abby Seitz (Veterinary Science / Chaminade-Julienne) received a Gold Rating for her Secretary’s Book, which documents meeting agendas, minutes, and membership rosters.
- Sally White (Veterinary Science / Preble Shawnee) achieved a Gold Rating for her Reporter’s Book, highlighting published materials, articles, and media that chronicle MVCTC FFA activities.
These officer books require exceptional attention to detail and serve as vital records of the chapter’s yearly operations.
Additionally, two MVCTC students excelled in the Sub-District Public Speaking Contest and will advance to the District level:
- Madison McGuire (Veterinary Science / Bethel) placed second in Beginning Prepared Public Speaking and will compete at the District Contest.
- Caleb Eversole (Veterinary Science / Valley View) placed first in Advanced Prepared Public Speaking and will move on to the District Contest.
The MVCTC FFA Chapter continues to showcase excellence in leadership, communication, and agricultural education. Congratulations to all award recipients, and best of luck to Madison and Caleb in the next round of competition!
