MVCTC Celebrates Class of 2025 National Technical Honor Society Tapping Ceremony

Englewood, OH – February 12, 2025 – The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) proudly recognized outstanding career-technical students at the Class of 2025 National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) Tapping Ceremony. This prestigious honor celebrates students who have demonstrated excellence in their career-technical fields, academic achievement, and leadership.

To be inducted into NTHS, students must meet rigorous criteria, including maintaining a 3.75 GPA or higher, receiving positive recommendations from junior and senior instructors, and demonstrating exemplary character with no discipline issues. This distinction highlights their dedication to academic and technical excellence and their commitment to future career success.

The National Technical Honor Society is the premier honor society for Career & Technical Education (CTE) students, serving over 100,000 members annually in secondary and postsecondary institutions nationwide. Since its founding in 1984, nearly 1.2 million students have become NTHS alumni. The organization provides recognition, scholarships, and connections to industry partners to support the development of a highly skilled workforce.
