Englewood, OH – The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) is proud to announce the January 2025 Students of the Month. These outstanding students have been recognized for their dedication, leadership, and academic excellence across multiple MVCTC programs.
Gabriella Young (Miamisburg) – Pre-Law & Legal Studies
Gabriella is a hardworking and responsible student who is deeply engaged in the legal field. She actively participates in classroom discussions and mock trials, is a member of the Pre-Law OCLRE Mock Trial team, and continuously challenges herself to grow academically and personally. Her leadership inspires others to do their best work.
Brady Steinke (Bethel) – Computer Coding & Web Applications
Brady has demonstrated remarkable progress in C++ programming. His hard work and dedication earned him 4th place in a C++ programming competition, showcasing his commitment to mastering complex coding concepts.
Paige Clarkson (Miami East) – Early Childhood Education
Instructor Alicia Newman praises Paige for her kindness, eagerness to learn, and positive attitude. She is currently applying her skills at Early Beginnings Daycare Center, setting a great example for her peers.
Perla Fuentes (Bethel) – Cosmetology
Instructor Mandy Turner describes Perla as an outstanding student who approaches each day with enthusiasm and a willingness to help others. Her positive attitude and strong work ethic make her a model student in the Cosmetology program.
Aiden Studebaker (Northmont-MVCTC CCL)
Aiden successfully completed all academic courses and earned CBI Work credits, allowing him to graduate early. He now works at Cargill in Dayton at the corn inspection station.
Livia Krull (Miamisburg-MVCTC Career Connections)
Livia excelled throughout the semester, demonstrating diligence in learning to use various tools and completing projects with pride.
Jordan Ritchie (Twin Valley South-Ag)
A dedicated four-year Ag Ed student and FFA chapter Secretary, Jordan has competed in multiple contests and logged over 102 volunteer hours. Her Supervised Agricultural Experience involves creating “Hygiene Stations” within the school to support students in need.
Benjamin Bentz (Huber Heights - Fire/EMS)
Science teacher Corrie Lievsay describes Ben as a hardworking and driven student with a reputation for kindness and empathy. His commitment to Fire/EMS service makes him a standout in his program.
Jasmine Robinson (Trotwood-Madison - Pre-Engineering)
Spanish teacher Patricia Weir commends Jasmine for her academic excellence, participation in Spanish 3, and role as a STEM student ambassador for the City of Dayton. She also serves as the National Honor Society secretary for her homeschool.
Zoey Chambers (Huber Heights)
Zoey is a role model for her peers, consistently demonstrating a strong work ethic, a helpful attitude, and a positive outlook in the classroom.
Connor Johnson (Northmont)
Connor has excelled in the Robotics and Automation program, ranking among the top students. His skills and dedication extend beyond the classroom, as he applies his knowledge professionally at Prosthetic Design Inc. in Englewood.
