MVCTC FCCLA Students Qualify for Ohio FCCLA State Leadership Conference

he Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) is proud to announce that several Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students have qualified for the Ohio FCCLA State Leadership Conference, taking place April 24-25, 2025, at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio.

The students secured their spots at the state conference by excelling in the Regional Career Development Events, demonstrating outstanding skills in leadership, communication, hospitality, and education-related competitions.

The following MVCTC students have qualified for the Ohio FCCLA State Leadership Conference:

  • Ashlyn Bailey (Senior, Culinary Arts, Miamisburg) – Entrepreneurship – Silver
  • Krishia Ewing (Senior, Culinary Arts, West Carrollton) – Leadership – Gold
  • Lauren Homan (Junior, Culinary Arts, Miamisburg) – Job Interview – Gold
  • Makai Kincaid (Junior, Culinary Arts, Vandalia-Butler) – Nutrition and Wellness – Gold
  • Ayanna New (Senior, Culinary Arts, Arcanum-Butler) – Job Interview – Gold
  • Erica Richmond (Junior, Culinary Arts, Eaton) – Hospitality, Tourism & Recreation – Gold
  • Brooke Willwerth (Senior, Early Childhood Education, Miamisburg) – Teach and Train Event – Gold
  • Melody Wolf (Junior, Culinary Arts, Tri-County North) – Career Investigation – Gold

Additionally, the following students participated in the regional competition and represented MVCTC with distinction:

  • Jazmine Klinzam (Junior, Early Childhood Education, Northmont) – Interpersonal Communication – Bronze
  • Kamille Stanifer (Junior, Early Childhood Education, Northmont) – Interpersonal Communication – Bronze

The Ohio FCCLA State Leadership Conference is a premier event that showcases students' talents and skills in Career Development Events, leadership training, networking opportunities, and professional development. Those who achieve top placements at the state level may qualify for the FCCLA National Leadership Conference.
