Englewood, Ohio – The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) is thrilled to announce that two student teams will be representing MVCTC for the Final Design Review (FDR) of the NASA HUNCH Project, at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, on April 9, 2025.
Final Design Review (FDR) Details
MVCTC’s student teams will participate in the FDR at Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, Texas, on April 9, 2025. This event will feature reviews in the Software and Biomedical categories, providing students with the opportunity to present their innovative designs to NASA engineers, astronauts, and Human Research Program (HRP) teams.
MVCTC Finalists – Software Category
Two outstanding students from Mrs. Melissa Goodall’s Computer Coding & Web Applications class have earned a spot in the Final Design Review:
Kasidi Daugherty (Tri-County North) and Oliver Moore (Eaton) - will present their ECLISS ISS Machine Maintenance AI Project
MVCTC Finalists – Biomedical Category
A team of Biotechnology students from Mrs. Jennifer Foudray's class have also been selected as finalists:
Tyler English (Vandalia-Butler) and Kaitlyn Muterspaw (Huber Heights) – will present their Portable IV Fluid - Suitcase Project
The Computer Coding & Web Applications team of Nicholas Kohrs (Bethel) and Radhe Patel (Vandalia-Butler) was also recognized at the local judging events.
