Englewood, OH – Eight Business Professionals of America (BPA) students from Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) have earned the opportunity to compete at the BPA National Leadership Conference, taking place May 7-11, 2025, in Orlando, FL. These students showcased their expertise in various business-related competitions and secured top placements at the state level to advance to the national stage.
The following MVCTC students qualified for the BPA National Leadership Conference:
Vandan Bhavsar (Business Ownership, Vandalia-Butler) – Fourth Place, Integrated Office Applications contest
Juliana Hauser (Pre-Law & Legal Studies, Eaton) – Fourth Place, Business Law & Ethics contest
Christopher Hill (Business Ownership, Arcanum-Butler) – First Place, Basic Office Systems and Procedures contest
Sebastian Luster (Business Ownership, Northmont) and May Renneker (Business Ownership, Valley View) – Third Place, Global Marketing Team contest
Tristan Tipton (Drones & GIS Technologies / Vandalia-Butler) – Second Place, Database Applications contest
Valeria Velasco (Business Ownership / Huber Heights) – Second Place, Banking and Finance contest
Gage Williams (Computer Repair & Technical Support / Tipp City) - Third Place, Device Configuration and Troubleshooting contest
The BPA National Leadership Conference will provide them with opportunities to compete at a national level, network with industry professionals, and further develop their career skills.
