Englewood, Ohio - The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) SkillsUSA Chapter I held its first meeting on September 21, 2015. The meeting included introducing new students to SkillsUSA, fun and games.

The meeting included inspirational guest speaker 2015 MVCTC graduate Rayna Huffman, who placed at the National Prepared Speech SkillsUSA Contest in 2015. Rayna shared her success at MVCTC and encouraged students to get involved in SkillsUSA. The officers concluded the meeting with fun activities to help chapter members get to know each other better.
This year, the SkillsUSA Chapter I officers plan on making the meetings all about positivity and spreading happiness throughout each other’s labs, the school, and the organization as a whole. SkillsUSA is a great organization that is for all age groups that provides leadership skills and training, while promoting growth in individuals.
