Recorder
- Requires Chrome 74 and up
- This page needs to stay open to keep recording
- To capture system audio, when the dialog pops up, you'll need to check "Share audio"
- On macOS it is only possible to share system audio when capturing a Chrome tab
- Click here for information on re-encoding your video to make it more compatible
- Open VLC
- Click Media at the top left, then click "Convert / Save..."
- While under the File tab, click "Add...", then select your file
- Click "Convert / Save" at the bottom right
- To the right of Profile, click the dropdown and select "Video - H.264 + MP3 (MP4)"
- To the right of that dropdown, click the wrench icon
- Click the "Audio codec" tab and change the Codec from "MPEG Audio" to "MP3" and click save
- Under "Destination" click Browse, then choose where you want to save the new file
- When ready click Start and wait for VLC to encode the video
