Milton-Union MVCTC students participated in Believe in Ohio and submitted around 80 business plans. The students received thousands of dollars for local awards at Milton-Union MVCTC. The top winner at the local level were Chloe Fogle and Hallie Berberich with the Flashini Flashdrive business plan, receiving $1000, second place was Karissa Baird with her smart locker business plan, receiving $500. Several other business plans received $125 for superior ratings.
Three of Mrs. Aukerman's business plans were selected to go on to state judging. Students traveled to Columbus to present their business plan with a prototype. Madison Hoffman received $1000 cash award at the state contest and Kyli Parsons received a $5,000 scholarship.
