Twin Valley South - MVCTC FFA The Bistro Volunteering
On September 9th our chapter took over The Bistro at Eagles Point in Eaton. These are the names of the members that participated in our volunteering opportunity.

There were various different positions they could have taken as volunteers such as waiters/waitresses, hosts/hostesses and busing tables. We had a great time giving back to the community. The Bistro is a restaurant whose vision is to provide a place where our Community is provided healthy, affordable meals in a welcoming environment. They have a pretty interesting concept on how they do things. One is there a few different options on how to pay for the bill one is “pay what you can” this means you pay as much as you can of the amount that is on your check and make up the rest in volunteering hours. Another way is to “pay it forward” this is where you donate to The Bistro buy paying more than the amount listed on your check. Another cool thing they do is offer a FREE community meal! They are held the last Tuesday of every month from 4:30pm- 7:30pm. Everyone is welcome to join. They keep the business functioning by having volunteers.
