The Eaton MVCTC Grain Merchandising Team Placed First in the State Career Development Event. Students were given a test on the complex decision-making process associated with merchandising grain. The top 10 placing teams from the test, traveled to Columbus where they were given 30 minutes to solve a real-life scenario, and then present their findings to a panel of judges and answer questions. Katelyn Niehaus was the first place overall individual, Kendale Hamilton was the 2nd place individual, Rebecca Wright was the 6th place individual and Trent Broermann placed 18th! The team will represent Ohio at the National FFA Convention in October.
