Miami County Parliamentary Procedures Contest Held
Participating was Greenhand 1st period were team members Chair Emily Thimmes, Vice Chair Dylan Hahn, Cameron Coomes, Lane Davis, Alex DiNardo, Jacob Goins, Zac Gordon, Kami Martin, and John Savini. They competed in Novice Room A and earned first place and a gold rating. They advanced to the District Parliamentary Procedures Career Development Event in December
Participating in Greenhand 4th period were team members Chair Rachael Hodge, Vice Chair Jessie Huffman, Alex Isbrandt, Austin Jackson, Aly Jordan, Dawson Kingrey, Travis Kroeker, Bridey Logan, Destiny McCourt, Logan Poston, Jacob Rife, Dalton Taynor, and Emma Younce. They competed in Novice Room A and earned second place and a gold rating.
The students showed their knowledge of Parliamentary Procedure by holding a mock meeting and giving quality discussion on motions. Participants were given two minutes preparation time and asked to demonstrate six parliamentary procedure abilities.
