Valley View-MVCTC FFA Members Receive FFA Greenhand Degree
This fall, 36 first-year FFA members met qualifications for the FFA Greenhand Degree. To qualify for the FFA Greenhand Degree, members must be enrolled in an agricultural education course, planned a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), and learned about the FFA motto, FFA salute, FFA creed, FFA emblem and colors, FFA Code of Ethics, FFA official dress, and FFA history. The officers conducted the FFA Greenhand Degree Ceremony at the chapter meeting on December 10, 2014. Members earning the degree included Brock Agee, Maggie Barnard-Barnett, Hannah Becraft, Brayden Bishop, Christopher Boyle, Michael Boyle, Cody Bradley, Colten Branham, Meeka Breeding, Hunter Cantrell, Randal Duff, Brett Hardyman, Peyton Henderson, Hunter House, Jayden Howard, Jordan Johnson, Brynn Kozarec, William Layton, Kolya Mejia, Kathleen Monnig, Darin Moore, Austin Napier, Daniel Noelker, Clinton Ransom, Joseph Reedy, Josiah Smith, Jeremy Smith, Grace Sorrell, Garrett Stevenson, Dalton Thacker, Allison Tirey, Devin Vantrease, Brian Ward, Anna Warnick, Josephine Waters, and Mercedes Woodson.
