Semi-Annual Bullying Report

The Miami Valley Career Technology Board of Education Policy 5517.01 is a state required policy and is based on Section 3313.666 of the Ohio Revised Code. The policy requires that a semi-annual written report be provided to the Board President and published on the district website that identifies the number of reported incidents and verified acts fitting the definition of harassment, intimidation, or bullying, based on the Ohio Department of Education Anti-Harassment, Anti-Intimidation, or Anti-Bullying Model Policy.

Harassment, Intimidation, or Bullying means:

• Any intentional written, verbal, graphic, electronic or physical act that a student of group of students exhibits toward another particular student(s) and the behavior both causes mental or physical harm to the other student and if sufficiently severe, persistent or pervasive that it creates an intimidating, threatening or abusive educational environment for the other student/school personnel; or violence within a dating relationship.
